About Tim

Tim started making movies with an old VHS-C camera as an eight year old. It didn’t take him long to realise this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

At twelve he joined a filmmaking class at Filmbites. There he began to hone his skills, and directed numerous films there. At age 17, he directed the film Losing Thomas Eldridge, which screened at the Adelaide Kids Film Festival.

In 2013, he started studying at Murdoch University, and branched out into gripping and sound recording. His final year film, Bodhi, which he wrote and directed screened at Cinefest Oz in Busselton, Western Australia and the Hidalgo International Film Festival in Mexico.

Today, he balances his time between sound recording, gripping, writing, directing and teaching the next generation of filmmakers as an instructor at Filmbites.

He also works in music management and web development, and created the music-focussed web services company Mootunes in 2020.
